Anja Loetscher Founding Partner
Anja Loetscher was born in Germany and spent her childhood in Africa, returning to Germany to complete her formal education.
Following her marriage in 1978 to a Swiss hotelier she embarked on a life as a “professional gypsy” travelling and supporting her Hotel Manger husband as well as undertaking a wide variety of business and social activities.
In the early stages of her professional career she worked in the textile industry.Anja returned to Germany in 1994 with her daughter where she began a second career namely in the hotel and tourism industry. During the past 20 years, she has held several senior leadership positions, notably withTravelClick, a hospitality technology provider and Kempinski Hotels& Resort, an international luxury hotel group.
Since 2007 Anja lives in Geneva, Switzerland when she launched the Geneva Convention Bureau, to formalise the city’s convention business, with a staff of 10. Under her leadership the Geneva Convention Bureau has developed into one of Europe`s leading Convention Bureaus.
She holds an MBA in Business from Reims (France). Currently, she is studying for a Masters in Wine Management. Her passion for wine has inspired her to create a 78km wine trail in the countryside of Geneva, which is much enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
She is an active member of the marketing group of Swiss Convention Bureau (SCIB) and was recently elected as the only European member of the Board of Directors of the Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) based in America.
Living and working in many parts of the world Anja became fascinated by different cultures.
She has developed a passion for conscious leadership. Anja prides herself in being able to view issues from all angles, favouring a fresh, innovative approach to life’s challenges considering the uniqueness of each individual.

Geneva is known as the ‘capital of peace’ with over 200 international organizations (such as Red Cross, United Nations, Human Rights, UNICEF etc.). Geneva is the obvious place to expand ConsciousLab’s activities overseas. The Swiss branch of ConsciousLab is headed by its founding partner Anja Loetscher.
